Once UEFA have finished their investigations into the crowd trouble that was prevalent during the game between Napoli and Marseille at Naples. Napoli won 3-2 on the night but rival fans clashed outside the stadium and ten injuries were reported. There were also a lot of flares set off inside the stadium, which raised a lot of complaints.
If UEFA punishes the Serie A club, it will come as a massive blow as Napoli’s San Paolo has one of the most passionate and intimidating atmospheres.
Both sides have 9 points and while Napoli have to travel to Dortmund, they will not want to play a decisive game inside an empty stadium.
