How to Change the Regional Language in Outlook Mail

Outlook Mail (as well as many of Microsoft’s other applications) offers robust language support. Change the default language on Outlook.com.

Open Settings by selecting the gear icon in the upper-right corner of the Outlook Mail screen. Select View all Outlook settings. Select General to open a list of general settings options. Select Language and Time. Select the Language dropdown arrow to display all the available languages and choose a language. Clear the Rename default folders so their names match the specified language check box if you don’t want to rename folders such as the Inbox and Outbox using the new language choice. Select Save.

Once saved, Outlook.com automatically reloads with your new language settings.
